Laura Zak is a global steel industry professional with more than 30 years of experience building markets, leading sales operations, and forging the kind of long-term partnerships that survive market cycles.

Her specialty is extrusions and custom steel shapes – a technically demanding segment where deep product knowledge and trusted supplier relationships are the difference between a deal that closes and one that stalls. Over the course of her career, Laura has led North American commercial operations for global manufacturers including Fiven and the Calvi Network, where she was recognized with the Calvi Network New Achievements Award in 2019.

Today, through Blue Bridge Metals, Laura represents Kamet and Forge Fedriga – acting as a true extension of each company’s sales team in the North American market and beyond. She connects buyers to the right supply and gives manufacturers the market presence they need, without the overhead of building a sales infrastructure from scratch.

She has been a member of the professional communities that define the industry – Women in Manufacturing, Women in Steel, Women in Titanium, and Women in Ceramics – and brings the same commitment to those communities that she brings to every client relationship.
